SCANNING SERVICES If you want your photos, slides or negatives scanned, and returned to you on a CD or DVD, you have come to the right place. We will scan your 35mm slides and negatives at a resolution of 2,000 dpi with Digital ICE dust and scratch removal applied for only 35 cents! Photos of "any size" are scanned at 300 dpi for just 35 cents. We organize them for you - just ship them as is and save yourself hours of work in preparing your order. As with all our services, none of your photos, slides or negatives are ever shipped to India, Costa Rica or any offshore country. We provide Free FedEx return shipping. Medium Format Scanning
DVD SLIDESHOWS If you wish to view your photos on a TV connected to a DVD player, we will create a DVD Slideshow of your scanned images. The prices for a DVD slideshow without music or special slideshow features such as titles, slide captions, or menus is as follows: slideshow with up to 450 images $45.00 slideshow with 451 to 600 images $60.00 slideshow with 601 to 850 images $75.00 The maximum number of images per slideshow is 900. If you have more than 900 images, we will need to create additional slideshows. The company creates custom DVD Slideshows with music or special slideshow features such as titles, slide captions, or menus. DVD Slideshows are created from photo prints, slides, negatives and photos from digital cameras. Once transferred to DVDs, these memories can be preserved forever and enjoyed for generations. View them on your TV, computer or with a DVD projector. No need to drag out the old film projector and screen anymore. Our technicians will clean, repair damage, and edit unexposed sections [5 seconds or more]. We will add musical background at no extra charge. Regular 8, Super 8 and 16mm film sound or silent can be transferred. Approximately 1,600 feet of 8mm or 3,200 feet of 16mm can be transferred to one DVD. Movies on processed 8mm or Super 8mm film are typically found on 50-foot reels, which are 3" in diameter. Movies on processed 16mm film are typically found on 100-foot reels, which are 4" in diameter. Previously consolidated 8mm or Super 8mm films are found on 4" reels (100 feet), 5" reels (200 feet), 6" reels (300 feet) and 7" reels (400 feet). Previously consolidated 16mm films are typically found on 7" reels or larger. The price to convert your film to DVD is 15 cents per foot and a DVD transfer & packaging cost of $34.95 per DVD.
Video Tape to DVD We can also transfer your old VHS and Beta tapes to DVD. Each DVD can hold up to 2 hours of tape The price for the first DVD is $44.95, any additional "original" DVDs are $34.95. Copies are $10.00 each. Other Services
Materials left with MySpecial Photos that are not picked up or returned to our clients within 1 year of receipt are disposed. Image files are saved on our servers for four months after an order is completed. Movie, tape, and audio transfers are not archived. | ||||||||||||||
